The Story Is Over :: FFXI

Over the weekend I mentioned on irc.ffochat.com that I am *able to* get *up to* 341 Elemental Magic Skill with my current setup. Some people were curious on how. So I went and explained. I mentioned that on Iceday I get +15 Elemental Skill due to Ice Ring.

Okay, sure, it’s not like it’s Iceday all the time. It’s only Iceday for one hour every 8 hours. But so far in most end-game events Iceday did occur. Anyways, Illumina from #vanadiel went off on me saying “that doesn’t count” and “I bet you can’t beat Shiva on Iceday with the Ice Ring!”

So…

I did…

Not only did I do it, but I did it in near record time for my Shiva runs. I won in 13 minutes and 10 seconds.
