Just a quick update on my progress to get all my jobs to 37….
Today I managed to get NIN from 33 to – not just 37, but to – 38! This marks Ninja my 14th job to 37+.
I also brought out my Warrior whom was at 26, and he is now 30, very close to 31. I am hoping to get him to at least 34 by the weekends-end.
Anyways… here’s my current projection of my leveling…
WAR 30 -> 37 (15th Job)
Then I’m not sure which of the following jobs I’m going to level first, but…
COR 10 -> 37 (16th Job)
PLD 10 -> 37 (17th Job)
PUP 10 -> 37 (18th Job)
Once I manage to get those 4 jobs above to 37, I will unlock the two jobs I have yet to unlock, Dark Knight and Bard. After I have them both unlocked (which I might to during “breaks” of leveling), I will bring them up to 10 each. Once both are at 10 I will focus on one to bring it to 37 then the other. So…
BRD 0 -> 10
DRK 0 -> 10
BRD 10 -> 37 (19th Job)
DRK 10 -> 37 (20th Job)
I think that’s it for me.
I’m going to be [thinking about] canceling my account today [soon].

The two Stratagems that Scholars get which allows the next spell cast to become AoE instead of single target are Accession and Manifestation.

New Self-Record!
I’ve had a few people come up to me telling me they’re practicing the ways of the Scholar, trying to keep up with the studies and the spells. Learning of the positive and negative effects to both of the Grimoires. Some would ask for my opinion on what to do, and others would ask for general advice.
All in all, this entry will try to convey the essence of what it is to be a Scholar.

I decided to finally test out my scholar nuking in Dynamis last night.. Dynamis – Xarcabard to be precise. I’ve never really looked at the figures for mage damage until last night so I didn’t really know what to expect. I had just recently finally capped off Elemental Magic Skill and picked up some new gear including the Wizard’s Earring (+5 Elemental Magic when subjob is Black Mage). Overall with my trusty Ice Staff equipped (yes, Ice, not Aquillo, leave me alone >_>), I had 324 Elemental Magic Skill and with food and hailstorm I was able to maintain about 110 INT (give or take).
